Jay Seeney

Jay Seeney is one of the directors of the Greater Sydney Orchestra and is known for many hats, whether it be music, video production, business or anything else, there is no challenge too big. From writing Number One songs in country music, to playing festivals with over 20,000 attendees, Jay has seen it all. An accomplished guitarist, singer, saxophonist amongst other instruments, Jay is highly capable across performing in a number of different sectors of the industry.

Andrea Ng

Born and raised in Singapore, Andrea moved to Sydney at the age of 18 to pursue music. Andrea graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Performance in 2009. She has participated in Asian Youth Orchestra, Pacific Music Festival and Sydney Sinfonia. She was principal of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra for two years and associate principal of Sydney Youth Orchestra in 2005. She has also participated in chamber music masterclasses with the Grainger and Borodin String Quartet. Her teachers include Jane Hazelwood, Reiner Schmidt and Jeremy Williams.

Chiron Meller

Chiron began studying percussion at the age of 8 with Richard Miller. He continued his studies throughout the Conservatorium High School and Sydney Conservatorium faculty of the Sydney University until completing his Masters of Music Performance in 2008 specialising in Orchestral Studies. In years since study Chiron has performed regularly as a freelance musician with the Sydney Symphony and Opera Australia Orchestra as well as working with many other leading orchestras and arts organisations such as Orchestra Victoria, Sydney PhilharmoniaChoirs, The Metropolitan Orchestra and Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. Chiron also was contracted to act as the Associate Principal Timpani and Percussion position for the West Australian Symphony Orchestra based in Perth for two years between 2016 – 2017.

Bernadett Butson

Bernadett (BE) is an award-winning vision focused, multidiscipline creative. Bernadett is a design specialist in environmental and experiential design. She is known in the industry as a change-maker who inspires teams to succeed, heading up the design of many high-profile projects.

Bernadett holds a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts, master’s in design and has undertaken a PhD focusing on emotional and experiential design through the lens of “the evolution of large-scale cultural festivals”. She is also a published design academic and Design Lecturer for both University and TAFE and an accomplished artisan with skills in props making, puppetry, illustration and scenic art.

Bernadett values agility and empathy as creative, and loves exploring the intersection of performance and design to create transformative, impactful experiences that inspire wonder and engender well-being.
