During Christmas time GSO brought some Christmas cheer to staff and patients at Concord and Canterbury hospital. We played some traditional Christmas carols and also some viola and double bass duets. Andrea and Marie-Louise, two of the principal players from GSO volunteered their time to perform and we received great feedback from the staff and patients who thanked us for performing for them. It was also heart-warming to see people getting dressed up in superhero outfits to entertain the children who were in the hospital over Christmas. It brought a smile to our faces and reinforced the holiday cheer.
