This festival like experience is a jam-packed event that fuses traditional and contemporary music, story-telling, comedy, kids musical performances, vocal workshops, roving

performance, a musical community outreach workshop, healing workshop performance and face painting. The event runs for 3 hours and will have traditional Chinese instruments collaborating with western instruments performing Chinese New Year songs and popular tunes. There will also be a musical skit based on Leroy Anderson’s The Typewriter but instead of using an actual typewriter, an abacus will be used with a counter bell. Musicians will tell their own personal stories and perform along with the crowd and much more. This is an emotionally powerful experience with multiple zones of inclusion and collaboration set in the heart of the community.
